Project team
Hamilton’s proud Novotel entrusted us with upgrading Novotel Tainui’s meeting and conference rooms and lobby spaces, creating refreshed, functional, and welcoming interiors that extend a Waikato-inspired narrative throughout.
Owned by @tainuigroupholdings and operated by @accor the project extended the established design narrative of the journey of tuna (eels) and our mighty Waikato awa as inspiration for interiors, materiality and artworks. Special credit to @renatataiawa Waikato Tainui's Head Carver for creating the tuna and awa inspired artworks that we used on the glass artworks throughout. If you're staying in the Waikato go check out their beautiful new 40 room extension also!
