A beautifully designed off-the-grid home in Clevedon, featuring sustainable heating solutions and NZ-made products, including a Warmington Naked Studio Woodburner that enhances the cozy atmosphere of the study.
This well-designed off-the-grid home in Clevedon is an excellent example of sustainable living.
A freestanding General SI wood fire with wood panelling on a feature wall creates the perfect focal point in the open-plan living area of the main house. Auckland. Firewood is sourced from the property, making the heating sustainable and cost-effective. And the benefit of double-glazed windows is evident - with an insulated house, the heat is contained inside and enjoyed for hours.
The owners wanted to incorporate NZ-made products in their rustic home and say they love their Warmingtonfire, it heats the whole house, and visitors are always impressed!
A Warmington Naked Studio Woodburner is a treat in this adjacent building. The owner uses this space as his study and adores the fire. He says he stokes it in the morning, and it will create incredible heat all day. The outbuilding is also well insulated, minimising the need for solid fuel and low running costs.
