One Queen Street (Deloitte Centre)

We are thrilled to showcase our recent contributions to the prestigious One Queen Street project, now officially known as the Deloitte Centre. This landmark development, which opened on January 15, 2024, marks the completion of the Commercial Bay precinct, adding a remarkable mixed-use facility to Auckland's skyline.

The Deloitte Centre stands out as a unique blend of office spaces and hospitality, housing prominent tenants such as Deloitte and law firm Bell Gully, alongside Auckland's first 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel. The building also features a rooftop bar on level 21, promising breathtaking views, and a basement bar located off Quay Street, enhancing the vibrant community feel.

Woods Glass' expertise played a vital role in the realisation of this architectural marvel. We are proud to have supplied and installed the following key elements:

  1. Roof Glazing: Ensuring natural light permeates the building while maintaining energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
  2. LINIT U Glass: Providing sleek and modern glass solutions that add to the building's contemporary look.
  3. Street Canopies: Designing and installing protective and stylish canopies that enhance the pedestrian experience.
  4. Custom Glazing to Steel Windows: Delivering bespoke glazing solutions that complement the building's structural steel elements.
  5. Balustrading: Installing safe and elegant balustrading that combines form and function.
  6. Custom Display Case: Crafting a specialised display case that meets the unique needs of the development.

The Deloitte Centre seamlessly integrates with the Commercial Bay retail center and adjoining office towers, creating a cohesive and accessible environment. Additionally, the Private Offices offer premium, architecturally designed office suites on levels 4 and 5. These turn-key spaces feature internal meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, and a shared lounge with stunning views of the Waitematā Harbor.

Our contribution to the One Queen Street project exemplifies our commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction and glazing industry. We are proud to have been a part of this iconic development, setting new standards for mixed-use buildings in New Zealand.
