This project showcases a mix of Vertical Shiplap and Rusticated Accoya weatherboards. Accoya is the world's leading high technology wood and is produced from a non-toxic cellular modification process known as "Acetylation". 

The softwood used in this process is Radiata Pine sourced from sustainably managed forests in New Zealand. Following Acetylation, the result is a durable, stable and non-toxic material which carries a 50 year warranty above ground and 25 year warranty below ground.  

Accoya in this Project has been coated with WoodX Oil Colour Shale. The intention was to select a colour that would emulate the colour of Accoya as it weathered grey.
