Our clients embarked on a major renovation of their lovely villa, the brief was to keep things authentic. Keeping the look and feel classic, taking style cues from the villa itself, with just a few styling nods to modernity. Shaker-style fronts and panels, marble tops and splash backs are timeless. A Carrara marble kitchen island sets the tone, a solid block of marble. Backlit by LED lights and a negative handle detail take care of the latter. Notwithstanding the classic look, under the hood everything is 21st century, with moisture resistant board throughout, durable polyurethane paint, and Bosch appliances. While small touches of veneer, brass, glass and lighting has a lovely traditional feel, adding refinement to the look. Not just the kitchen! Bathroom, Laundry, wardrobes and storage wall with hidden door complete the project. Architectural details blend between the old and the new highlighting every level and surface.
