This edgy new house designed by Graham Sawell of Pyramidz Architecture strikes a beautiful balance between contemporary and casual. Bold black used in the cladding and joinery outside is continued inside with exposed steel beams - all softened by the extensive use of warm timber features throughout the interior and exterior.

The Point Wells home, built by Warkworth Construction, has an inviting and friendly vibe which suits the owners personality and style perfectly.

About the
Professional

Jay Farnworth’s enthusiasm for architectural photography cannot be understated. He appreciates the importance of the photographer’s role in interpreting architectural design and the collaborative effort required to capture and present an architect’s work.

He also understands the value photography has in terms of recording our built environment for exhibition and historical purposes - this influences a documentary-styled approach to his images.

Jay started his Auckland based photography business, Image Search Ltd, in 2005 and has always had a strong focus on being an architecture photographer.

Jay is a New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography [NZIPP] Accredited Commercial Photographer, has won numerous photography awards and currently holds an Associate honours distinction [ANZIPP]. He gains inspiration from the work by photographers during the mid-century modernism era.

Jay is available now to discuss your next photography project.
