Poolscape

Poolscape is a pool and outdoor living project that explores threshold via the creation of an inhabited verandah space and lively stairway connection between an upper level living and ground level fun times.

Situated on a north facing sloping site with intense suburban features but with opportunities to access distant green vistas. This project was an opportunity to engage better with the view and create a threshold space that responds to the Auckland condition – blistering sun and big rain while also creating a physical and visual link down to the 'quarry like' deep pool.
