Dusky Ash showcased in the latest project by Prestige Joinery.
Prestige Joinery based in Masterton are one of our first clients to use the new timber grain MR-MDF Melaboard in their latest showroom. Prestige Joinery have been manufacturing kitchens and joinery throughout the region for over twenty years and have a fabulous reputation for premium quality workmanship and excellent service.
The Prestige team wanted to create a contemporary display kitchen, for the Home Ideas Centre in Petone Wellington. Their brief was having a kitchen featuring the most up to date products and finishes available. With the new Melaboard timber grain range just arriving in New Zealand, this was the perfect opportunity to showcase it. Prestige also have another more traditional showroom on display at the Home Ideas Centre in Petone which compliments the contemporary kitchen with ease.
Greg Morgan, the company owner and director states that “The product was easy to work with, through all stages of the manufacturing process and they immediately liked the warmth and grain of the Dusky Ash and how it complimented the other products in the showroom really well”.
As well as our product used, Sage Doors provided the Acrymatte pantry doors in ‘Possum’ – a warm dark grey that really balances the Dusky Ash timber grain. Also, the Island doors and drawers are made from Sage Doors Acrymatte ‘Coconut’. Greg and his team were really impressed overall with the timber grain Melaboard range, as they have a remarkably realistic wood look.
