Complex rebuild of a retail space for Professional Farm Services in Cambridge, featuring high-end architectural finishes and innovative construction techniques while maintaining business operations amidst challenging site constraints.
The Professional Farm Services rebuild was complex because it involved the demolition and re-building of a retail space while the business remained operational.
There was also very little space because the high profile site was bounded on two sides by overhead power lines. Construction Advantage loves a challenge, and while careful consideration of the building sequencing and methodology was needed, we landed precast panels on an existing party wall which we stabilised by a steel frame. This too was stabilised by 4m deep concrete piles.
With high-end architectural finishes inside and out the Professional Farm Services build in Cambridge has drawn high praise from the client and the wider public.
