Throughout the home, a classical, crisp, and contrasting black and white color scheme prevails. Both off-the-shelf and bespoke furniture and fittings feature a traditional design. In the bathroom, a black tile skirt complements the grey, black, and white patterned floor. Glossy white beveled edge subway tiles adorn all walls from floor to ceiling, with a black curved border tile adding a bold horizontal line. Despite the potential for a harsh contrast, the soft contours, beveled edges, and patterns achieve a balanced and harmonious look reminiscent of the early 1900s. Adding a contemporary twist, modern elements like the heated ladder rail, underfloor heating, and frameless glass shower enhance functionality. These cabinets match the shaker style of the kitchen cabinetry, with a consistent marble engineered stone benchtop and beveled edge white gloss subway tile splashback.
