We were tasked to create a warm and inviting kitchen that blends seamlessly with the traditional style of the century old home and preserving the unique character of the space.
To achieve this, we opted for clean white cabinetry with a marble engineered stone top and butler's sink. Vintage tapware and crazed ceramic and pewter handles add character to the space and complement the black appliances and freestanding oven. The oiled American 'Antique Oak' floor, wicker barstools and veggie baskets bring warmth and texture to the design.
The kitchen is designed with a specific area for mum and her daughters to work together, where they can knead and roll out dough. The space also caters to the entire family's needs without interfering with food and baking preparations. The fridge is cleverly hidden behind a wall, and a pantry is squeezed under the stair landing, facing the fridge. The space is efficiently used, with drawers in the pantry and kicks, and a blind corner pull-out unit.
Traditional skirting, scotia, and architraves of the architecture are mirrored in the corbels, fluted columns, and cabinet panels. Casual dining and conversation can be enjoyed at the small table or the breakfast bar, which also functions as additional workspaces.
We believe that design is more than aesthetics—it's a holistic approach that brings harmony to every space. We specialize in creating beautiful, bespoke environments that improve the way people live, work, and play. With extensive experience in design, building, and project management, our team instinctively breaks down spaces to unlock their full potential. We combine functional space planning with creative interior design, using texture, light, pattern, and color to craft environments that enrich your experience. Each project is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring a space you'll love.
