Riddell Road features full smart home technologies at an affordable price point. My client gave me a brief scope to fully automate the home while keeping the costs down, concentrating on the wow factors such as lighting and entertainment.

This wonderful home has every light automated allowing full control and customisation from either the 3 dedicated touch screens throughout the home or any mobile device. We used affordable light switches from Vynco.

We added peace of mind security with a full alarm system and 2 cameras; both can be self monitored from anywhere in the world. 

To future proof the investment the best way possible we provisioned every TV point with CAT 6 cable and multiple data points through the home. The home is also fibre ready.

Entertainment is satisfied by two home theatre systems. A full Dolby Atmos 4K system in the main Living Room using all in ceiling speakers and a secondary home theatre with a more basic 5.1 setup. Furthermore we added in ceiling speakers in the Master Bedroom and a pair of high quality in wall speakers in the kitchen area for Spotify playback at the touch of a button.

All the technologies are controlled from an Elan Home Automation control system.
