River View Road (Lot 4)

The original site was 2,024 sqm. The proposed development was fully investor funded. The existing house was retained, and three new free-standing dwellings built, with each unit held on a fee simple title. Each title ranged from 450 sqm to 510 sqm. Each dwelling comprised open plan living, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and double internal access garaging. Challenges & Solutions Matamata-Piako District Council requires stormwater to be managed onsite to the 1 in 100 year storm event; which is significantly greater than our surrounding Councils (typically requiring stormwater management to the 1 in 10 year event). Our team of consultants proposed a creative underground detention system to manage stormwater onsite in the absence of soakage. The result being low maintenance systems for future owners.
