Renewal to an existing mid-century home allowed an opportunity to pay subtle homage to this period through the use of colour in the bathrooms. The bathroom lends itself an almost civic feel, with an intentional feeling of robustness and utilitarianism. A heavily tiled approach to the bathrooms with lowered partition walls demarcates the bathing zones and allows light to traverse through the spaces.
