It’s always a joy for us as designers to work with local craftsmen and never more so than during the creation of Saffire. This multi-award-winning boutique property has a relaxed coastal feel with a focus on local workmanship, suppliers and craftsmen. Saffire is a 20-suite boutique destination resort with an emphasis on the word destination. The Planning was designed in such a way as to allow guests the freedom to flow from space to space with private zones created by seating groups. Our design ideas were always going to be driven by the outstanding natural environment; a pristine coastal landscape and the purity of the environment is reflected in a fresh, modern, relaxing and uncontrived design style.

“We wanted to create a resort where guests could feel pampered and yet feel as if they were coming home. To be able to capture this essence is very rare indeed and [CHADA] has managed to do just that. They have been with us since the inception and have travelled the distance displaying exceptional insight into what we as the client were looking for; to create Australia’s premier luxury resort.”
