San Remo Ballroom
After a devastating fire put this beloved Carlton institution out of action, SGKS ARCH were tasked with breathing new life back into the venue with a revitalised, contemporary design that pays homage to the building’s past. Existing and refurbished Art Deco details are celebrated with dark, luxurious finishes introduced to create an understated backdrop to accommodate the variety of events that occur in the space. A new bar was designed with deep neutral tones, natural stone and brass details, acting as a classy focal point for the lobby.
