The new owners have painstakingly breathed new life into the Seadeck, completely stripping the boat back and creating a custom-designed deck using Millboard, unlike any other in Australia. Working with Internationally renowned designer Alex Zabotto Bentley from AZB Creative, and using the Mediterranean for inspiration, you can enjoy the feel of Europe while cruising Sydney Harbour.
Complete with handmade artisanal tiles, opulent fabrics, a custom-designed brass bar, bespoke furniture, Millboard decking and a colour palette inspired by the ocean, no expense has been spared. Add in Sydney's unbeatable harbour views and fresh ocean air, and have the makings of a perfect day out.
The Millboard Golden Oak decking spans across the entire lower deck of the Seadeck while the LOWDECK H4 timber joists were used for the sub floor. These timber joists are specially engineered for ultra-low height decks using the latest developments in treatment technology - backed by a 50Y Guarantee against rot/fungal and insect attack. The entire lower deck, which includes numerous seating areas, VIP booths, bar, dance floor and DJ stage, measures an impressive 330m2.

Millboard composite decking is hand-made in the United Kingdom & styled from real oak timbers, creating an incredibly realistic look that captures the natural beauty of wood. But unlike traditional timber – which needs regular ongoing maintenance like oiling & sanding to try and stave off rotting, mould, stains, warping, cupping, fading, splinters & a host of other undesirable effects – Millboard is completely different!
This is because unlike traditional timber, or even conventional composite decking WPC (which typically contains half-timber fibre/flours/rice husks & half plastic) – Millboard contains no timber, nor any plastic.
Millboard composite decking is made from a revolutionary Polyurethane resin, reinforced with mineral fibres plus a unique Lastane® coating. So what is Polyurethane then? It’s a type of elastomer, which is a polymer about halfway between a plastic and a rubber. It maintains the rigidity & longevity of plastic, with the suppleness of rubber. This means Millboard feels much more natural underfoot, while still offering incredible durability.
