The generous spaces in this two-storey Whitby home cleverly flow into each other without the need for hallways. Groceries go from the car in the double garage straight into the walk-through pantry – a design feature that makes the occupants wonder how they ever lived without it. Spacious living and dining areas spread out from the kitchen’s large island bench. The ample use of glass sliding doors ensures plenty of indoor / outdoor flow to the timber decks on both sides of the house located to catch either morning or afternoon sun.

Light streaming down the glass-balustraded staircase leads you up to a second living area – a landing pad for three double bedrooms, including main with, you guessed it, a luxuriously sized walk-in wardrobe and ensuite. While not short of windows, glorious amounts of light flood the second level thanks to an impressive set of skylights – eight in total, four of which are operable. The exterior of the home is clad in stylish Iron coloured Rockcote, along with vertical Dark Brown timber weatherboard and vertical James Hardie Stria in Blackjack – a modern shade of deep, dark grey. This works to enhance the sense of grandeur of the house which stands proud on its corner site, graciously defying its 212sqm size.
