We were approached to tender for this brand new medical centre in the heart of Auckland’s CBD by one of our longstanding construction company contacts. As with previous projects, we provided lighting, electrical services, and data/communications design. Doing a project in the center of a busy metropolitan area comes with its own challenges, and we ensured we were meeting deadlines and completing work in a timely manner to make the whole process run seamlessly. Our services included: • All power and cabling requirements • Structured cabling • Lighting design • Source and supply of all lighting and fittings • Separate emergency lighting plan and design • Installation for all lighting including emergency • Main distribution design including new sub-mains and distribution board.

“A new purpose-built facility comprising 1200 M2 of office over two floors and 7600 M2 of warehousing. Ben Pengelly was electrical project leader with a big influence on electrical design including installation scheduling. The work was carried out to a high standard and delivery was on time. Ben was not afraid to make recommendations to the electrical engineers if practicalities dictated that a change of specification was required. Upon completion, ben also produced and supplied a full set of ‘as built’ electrical specification/schematics. As the Managing Director of Simx and with overall project responsibility for the development of the new Simx HO, it was a pleasure working with Ben.
