Sisters Sanctuary
Camouflaged behind Kanuka, a top the beautiful Rangitahi Peninsula, this home was designed to be a sanctuary for the client and her sisters. To the East are breathtaking views of the Raglan harbour while to the West is the developing urban landscape of Rangitahi. Thoughtful use of natural materials combining rich walnut and soft sandy greys make for a serene interior. Although modest in size the variation of textures and colour transport you to a natural coastal landscape.
Building a home for a client who is also the designer made for an effortless project. Creativity paired with the ability to make quick decisions based on design being the top priority made for a beautiful end result.
