After successfully designing the Sotheby's Britomart Marketing Suite, Tailor Inc. was engaged tom complete the design for the Sotheby's offices, located in the heart of Remuera and within an iconic heritage building.

We worked closely with our client throughout the process to ensure the selection of finishes and key elements within the space tied back the look and feel of the Marketing Suite to provide cohesion between the two, whilst maintaining a sense of individuality.

Creating a unique experience for the Sotheby's clientele was crucial. This was achieved through a combination of layered materials, texture, and bespoke joinery items. The existing heritage features were also preserved and accentuated to highlight the character of the building. The space was made to feel homely and comfortable through the use of rich, tonal finishes such as engineered timber flooring, soft sheer curtains, and brass detailing.
