THE STORY
Positioned at the end of a quiet cul de sac next to Mosman’s Bradleys Head National Park, lies St Elmo. A beautiful red brick two story late Art Deco dual residence mostly in its original condition.
Owned by the Chat Thai family, the ground floor unit had been unoccupied for some time. The family decided to breath new life into the apartment utilising the fabulous location to invite holiday renters to enjoy this prestigious part of Sydney.
Minor upgrades were made to the kitchen and bathroom and whole lot of personality injected with treatments to the apartment. Existing furnishings were upgraded and then complimented with pieces sourced from Auction Houses and local Australian suppliers and artists.
NEW CHAPTER
With budget, practicality and my clients philosophy of sustainability, the upgrade is a true example of treading lightly yet still achieving an eciting new chapter for this wonderful eclectic apartment. What was most pleasing for me is that we didn’t loose any of the original features of this great Art Deco dame.
St Elmo is now ready and available for bookings as a holiday rental. And why wouldn’t you?
