House 2 was designed to be a statement home, featuring open-plan living and expansive glass elements that connected the indoors with the outdoors. The challenge was to provide large-scale glazing solutions that maximized natural light while maintaining thermal efficiency and sound insulation.

aluplast worked closely with The block crew to integrate high-performance window and door systems that balanced aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.

The key solutions implemented included:

Floor-to-Ceiling Sliding Doors: Expansive uPVC sliding doors created a seamless indoor-outdoor connection, enhancing natural light and ventilation while maintaining excellent thermal insulation.
Energy-Efficient Double Glazing: Advanced glazing technology helped regulate indoor temperatures, reducing reliance on artificial heating and cooling.
Superior Soundproofing: Given the home’s open-plan layout and large glass elements, aluplast’s high-performance uPVC frames and double glazing minimized external noise for a tranquil interior.
