The Groves Apartments: A vibrant urban village in West Auckland, featuring a blend of housing and retail, including daycare and gym facilities, designed by Graeme Wrack and completed in collaboration with Gel Architects.
This 4500m2 project sits on the original Palmers Garden Centre in West Auckland. Neighbour permission was obtained to transform the site into a fresh and vibrant hub with a mix of housing and retail typologies.
Our design brief was to provide an "Urban Village" which included apartment and terraced house living options alongside retail offerings including a daycare and gym.
This has resulted in a successful mix of typologies that share a common asthetic theme.
