Soulful, passionate, beautiful both inside and out, like its owners, is how I would describe The Stables.

Bronwyn and Bruce Turton are both masters of their crafts. The Stables has been crafted with love and attention to every detail which they could achieve using their skills and always in collaboration with a team of equally skilled craftspeople. It has been a journey to create this beautiful home with the gardens being of equal importance to the owners, as they are both avid gardeners.

The home opens out to the lush green Waikato farmland with stunning sunsets. Indoor outdoor flow was critical and the hard landscaping is very earthy to compliment the surroundings. Sculpture, garden art, pots planters, and furniture have all been chosen carefully to sit in this unbeatable New Zealand setting.

As extremely busy professionals their vision was to create a fabulous family home they would love to come home to. Tranquil, calm and functional but low maintenance and drought tolerant. All to accommodate their children, grandbabies and provide a sense of fun!

It has been a journey and a privilege to be part of this team. Most of our work has been discussed while Bronwyn has been driving home over the phone or in the weekend when we could both make time to sit and chat about their expectations.

The project reflects Bruce and Bronwyn’s interests and accommodates family and friends to enjoy a coffee outside on the terrace or a pony ride in the arena. A little slice of paradise to return home to at the end of a busy day after creating beautiful spaces for their clients.
