The owners of this Castlecrag home wanted their under-utilised rooftop garden transformed for entertaining large groups of friends and for casual lounging.

We designed and constructed a floating bluestone viewing bar and installed built-in gas and charcoal barbecues to create a functional and inviting entertaining area, while a custom curved hardwood daybed and firepit provides a year-round lounging zone. The existing pool and surrounds also required a complete redesign, focusing on space efficiencies. While the creation of a curved deck cantilevered over the pool was the first step to achieving this, the extension of the tiled pool surround elevated the pool use to another level.
