Amidst the sun-drenched expanse of the Wairarapa plains, Te Kouka Studio draws inspiration from the rustic charm of shearing sheds and the stark silhouette of cabbage trees that punctuate the landscape.
A sanctuary for weekend retreats, it beckons Wellington-based clients to bask in the sun, read a book, and indulge in the Martinborough Terrior.
Reflecting hues and textures of its rural setting, the studio integrates Zincalume and larch cladding, allowing it to sit gently into the land, as if it had always belonged there.
