Ben’s first project in the early 1990’s at the tender age of 10 was a treehouse on Auckland’s leafy North Shore. Declared a roaring success by the neighbourhood’s children (his parents less impressed by the increased foot-fall to the property to view this new real estate), it was clear to see where his passion lay. A decade-long career in construction followed with varied project management roles spanning villa renovations, commercial builds and marine installations. An enduring love for the great outdoors, however, drew him to university where he qualified as a landscape designer.

Over the last decade, Ben and his team have been quietly designing, building and maintaining outdoor spaces across Auckland. His clients have tended to grow, highly organically, in clusters throughout Remuera, Northcote Point, Herne Bay, Westmere and Point Chevalier – the result of word-of-mouth recommendations that have meant formal marketing has never been a consideration.
