This eight-story Haymarket property is characterized by a contemporary aesthetic, both externally and internally. To complement this minimalist design, EZ Concept’s flush finish riser door systems were specified. The EZ Concept team collaborated seamlessly with Ogilvie Group and Elite Door Solutions to achieve a successful project outcome.

Central to the hotel’s interior design is a focus on clean lines and spaciousness, extending from the welcoming hallways to the luxurious suites and restaurant/bar. To maintain this aesthetic, architectural openings and finishes were meticulously minimized. The Bespoke AccessDor riser door system was integral to this approach, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding environment and enhancing the sense of space within the corridors. The system's adjustable closing jamb facilitated installation across varying wall thicknesses.

The AccessDor system effectively conceals building hardware and piping, presenting a flawless, 3mm reveal between the door and plasterboard. This frameless finish aligns perfectly with the hotel’s high-end aesthetic. The integration of RocYork Concealed Hinges further enhances the minimalist look by eliminating visible hardware.

To meet the hotel’s security and safety requirements, the riser doors were fitted with Euro Cylindrical Locks and comply with fire rating standards. The Voco Hotel’s commitment to sustainability aligns with EZ Concept’s environmental policy, which prioritizes minimum waste practices in manufacturing.
