A small abode on rural church grounds with expansive views to neighbouring farmland.  The single level, thermally efficient abode is a modern contrast to the existing church and sits boldly on the landscape.

The owners, having enjoyed holidaying in the church required a small retreat that provided a warm oasis while allowing the church to independently cater for guests.  The dwelling had to be low maintenance and energy efficient
