The Brief

The clients wanted a modern home to house extended family which involved a main two level house with an attached single level house. The house was to be architectutally designed with a starting point of a 3D sketch plan from the client. We developed this design to suit the challenging sloping site and to fit within site building restrictions and council requirements.

The final result is a stunning modern home that seamlessly appears as one residence. The feature double height entry with steel framed feature stairs lead to an expansive open plan living space on the first floor with views to The Mount. Modern fittings and fixtures have been used throughout the home to create the modern family living the clients were looking for.

The clients and Cactus Design Architecture worked with Signature Homes Bay of Plenty to build their new home.
