Wilston Decor Styling

This home was originally an old post war home with a typical 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom layout and the client’s carried out a major renovation, expanding the floor space upstairs but also lifting and fully renovating the downstairs. The house now has plenty of room for inside and outside living while keeping with the Queenslander period style features. RJP Design and Décor was engaged to assist the clients with decorating and furnishing this home to suit their family’s needs. The clients were conservative in their style and colour palette, so RJP Design and Décor translated this by introducing a mix of materials for texture and a neutral colour palette for easy pairing. The clients had an eclectic mix of treasures from their travels overseas to use throughout the house which needed to be featured and complimented with new pieces. Pieces were sourced from RJP Design and Décor’s library of wholesalers as well as custom pieces were made to suit the space and client style.
