Major conversion in Winn Road
Our knowledge and experience stood us in good stead with this exciting villa conversion project.
First we moved 450 truck loads of dirt from the back of the section to make way for new lower floors – garage, wine cellar, bedroom and office.
Then we moved the house, a mission in itself with trucks stacked on top of each other. Framing the lower levels came next, using old methods and sourcing materials to faithfully match the villa’s ‘gingerbread’ style.
And we couldn’t take it slow – we were under a time pressure to start in February and finish in September the same year. We communicated regularly and often with the client who was overseas, and sent weekly photo updates to report on progress.
Needless to say, the client is stoked.
