Expanding the Palette: Studio Enti Introduces Four New Earth-Inspired Colourways

In the world of handcrafted lighting, Studio Enti has long been celebrated for its quiet balance of precise and warm porcelain pieces that carry both the clarity of modern design and the softness of touch. Now, the Sydney-based studio, led by ceramicist Naomi Taplin, unveils a new chapter in its evolving palette: four deeper tones that bring richness, depth and emotion to the brand’s signature minimalist form.
A deeper dialogue with colour
The new hues, Citrine, Sienna, Cacao, and Cassis, extend Studio Enti’s ceramic collection into warmer, earthier territory. Described by Taplin as “warm, deeper tones that round out the full colour palette”, they offer both designers and homeowners a greater ability to explore subtle moods and bold statements within interior spaces.
Each tone has been developed to complement the existing porcelain range, from the soft neutrality of Stone and Ash to the cool stillness of Bluegum and Midnight. Together, they present a vast set of options for interiors: from bright pops of colour to new muted combinations that bring a sense of calm and cohesion.

Designed for the architectural eye
In true Studio Enti fashion, the new palette invites creative freedom while maintaining architectural integrity. Whether specified for wall lighting, table lamps or bespoke projects, these tones open the door for more expressive applications of ceramic lighting, from a single Cassis sconce that punctuates a pale wall, to a gradient of Cacao and Sienna shades that echo the warmth of natural materials.
For Taplin, this expansion isn’t just aesthetic, it’s about connection. “We wanted to reach designers who love using colour,” she explains. “These tones provide brightness and depth, a different offering that feels both fresh and grounded.”

Balancing modern restraint and handcrafted depth
Studio Enti’s colour philosophy remains rooted in the ceramic process itself: every hue interacts uniquely with porcelain’s natural translucency or opaque tactility, responding to light in quiet, layered ways. It’s this blend of craftsmanship and control that allows the collection to sit comfortably within both contemporary and timeless architectural settings.
Each colour is designed to live with the others: to create moments of contrast or harmony, depending on how they’re used.
