The Mani collection honours simple yet expressive forms: a bowl-and-mount sconce in porcelain, with customisable colour finishes and considered proportions.

Warm tones imbue the Studio Enti colour palette with deep and rich layers offering new opportunities to combine colour and create character for your space. From the pop of colour combinations in our Minis, the deep curvature of the Bells to a stunning span of our Wide, the Mani range is full of possibilities.

In the hands of Sydney ceramicist and designer Naomi Taplin, light becomes something more than illumination - it becomes form, mood and quiet emotion. Her studio, Studio Enti, has long been known for its refined porcelain pieces that merge the rigour of design with the gentle unpredictability of craft.

With the release of the Mani collection, three new wall sconces titled Mani Mini, Mani Wide and Mani Bell, Taplin extends her philosophy of slow design into the architectural space, where light and material meet.

A study in scale and shape

The collection’s three designs, Mini, Wide and Bell, explore variations of a shared idea: that light can be held within form.

Every piece is made by hand in Sydney, shaped from fine Australian porcelain and fired to reveal subtle tonal variations that speak of the maker’s touch. Taplin has always treated porcelain as a living material: one that shifts character when paired with light.

That philosophy is palpable across the Mani collection. Each sconce reads like a sculptural object: simple, tactile, and quietly expressive. The curved forms cradle light rather than emit it, creating a gentle gradient of shadow and glow that transforms a wall into an architectural surface.

In its smaller scale, Mani Bell introduces intimacy and sculptural warmth to reading corners, entryways, or beside mirrors.

The larger form offers a commanding presence for feature walls or expansive interiors.

In both versions, the porcelain bell gently encloses the bulb, diffusing light into a warm, ambient glow.

The smallest and most charming member of the Mani family, Mani Mini is a compact ceramic wall light with a delicate and playful presence.

This customisable two-tone option offers creative freedom— there’s room to play with contrast for a bold statement, or keep things tonal and subtle to suit softer palettes.

Mani Mini brings a sculptural element to small spaces, making it ideal for powder rooms, small reading corners, beside mirrors, or clustered in entryways.

Open and expansive in form, Mani Wide is the most generously scaled member of the Mani family. Defined by its wide, shallow bowl and soft geometry, this single-piece construction highlights the purity of its form.

With the wide bowl cradling a large half-dome porcelain cover that gently diffuses light outward, this piece creates a soft and ambient glow.

A gentle statement

Studio Enti's collections have found homes in projects that span residential, hospitality and commercial design, yet they retain the intimacy of handmade art. The Mani collection, while refined enough for specification, never loses the spirit of the studio: honest materials, gentle geometry, enduring design.

The Mani sconces are, in essence, an invitation to slow down, to notice how a soft pool of light can anchor a room, or how the curve of porcelain can lend architecture a sense of calm.

In a design culture increasingly driven by speed and spectacle, Studio Enti’s work reminds us that beauty often lives in restraint. The Mani collection captures that belief in physical form: three sculptural gestures that hold light as if it were something precious.
