Bradbourne’s “Cellular” works have a repeat patterning inspired by the cellular construction of plants and leaves. This exploration emerged during a time when Stephen had limited access to a full glass blowing studio.

At Monmouth Glass we handcraft exquisite glass objects that people need and use every day.
Monmouth is a traditional glassblowing studio, established in 2012 by glass artists Stephen Bradbourne and Isaac Katzoff. Our furnace holds 120 kilos of glass, and it is kept molten at a temperature of 1100 degrees Celsius twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
Every piece is gathered from the furnace then hand shaped and blown using traditional glassblowing techniques that date back hundreds of years..
