For this series of large vessels, Isaac Katzoff employs simple glass-blowing techniques to create elegant yet complex forms.
In this turquoise pot, the colours move from near-opaque to luminous translucence, while the line and form of seams determine the final structure.

At Monmouth Glass we handcraft exquisite glass objects that people need and use every day.
Monmouth is a traditional glassblowing studio, established in 2012 by glass artists Stephen Bradbourne and Isaac Katzoff. Our furnace holds 120 kilos of glass, and it is kept molten at a temperature of 1100 degrees Celsius twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
Every piece is gathered from the furnace then hand shaped and blown using traditional glassblowing techniques that date back hundreds of years..
