For this series of large vessels, Isaac Katzoff employs simple glass-blowing techniques to create minimal yet complex forms.
This captivating amber pot showcases not just colour, but the way glass as a material behaves and responds to an artist. No vase’s form is ever the same.
MADE IN AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND.
At Monmouth Glass we handcraft exquisite glass objects that people need and use every day.
Monmouth is a traditional glassblowing studio, established in 2012 by glass artists Stephen Bradbourne and Isaac Katzoff. Our furnace holds 120 kilos of glass, and it is kept molten at a temperature of 1100 degrees Celsius twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
Every piece is gathered from the furnace then hand shaped and blown using traditional glassblowing techniques that date back hundreds of years..
