A range of tables with folded legs like a delicate origami. An element skillfully assembled by a light folded aluminium foil and an internal part composed by aluminium and polyurethane inserts to give stability.
The square or rectangular tops are available in glass, the support structure is either shiny aluminium or glossy lacquered. Diamond won the Red dot design award Best of the best in 2005.
Ongoing research and experimentation with innovative and characterful materials leads to expanding the versions of Diamond, now also with the frame in the new copper finish and marble tops, such as the new Sahara Noir.

"Affection is a subtle connection which is established with objects. [...] Because we have to live with objects daily" - Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo in Spain. After studying at the Facultad de Arquitetura de Madrid, she graduated from the Milan Polytechnic in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni and in 2001 opened her own studio. Being a Spanish and an Italian designer has undoubtedly influenced her work. She brings together the rigor of her training in Milan with a creative side that comes from her roots. She has completed several projects and collections for Molteni&C. Her diamond table won the Red Dot Award for Best Product in 2005.
For over 45 years the Dawson family and our wonderful staff have been filling homes with designer furniture sourced from New Zealand and abroad. We travel extensively, collaborating with our manufacturing partners to ensure we bring the best value product we can find. Our philosophy is simple - to showcase great quality, honest furniture from brilliant craftspeople in a welcoming environment.
How do we achieve this?
We are extremely lucky to have fostered strong relationships with renowned international furniture brands and designers including Molteni & C, Timothy Oulton, Dedon and Tribu. Buying directly from international suppliers enables us to remove the added layers of costs and complexity so we can pass the savings on to the consumer.
What is great quality?
We believe it is a fine balance of design and materials. That is why prior to adding any product collections we meet the artisans in their workshops and factories anywhere they manufacture around the world, which involves us spending up to 3 months a year travelling to Asia and Europe. All too often we have been shown cheaper items but they turn out to be inferior. All our staff are highly trained professionals who can tell you about our furniture in detail.
