The ecotio2® Anti Bacterial Surface Coating from Photocatalyst Coatings can be applied to surfaces to protect your family, friends, workmates, and colleagues from potentially harmful viruses, bacteria, and mould.

Airborne bacteria, viruses, and spores that come in contact with a surface coated with invisible ecotio2® Photocatalyst Coatings are decomposed and broken down by the oxidising functionality of ecotio2® nano titanium dioxide.

This action ruptures the cell wall of bacteria preventing them from spreading infection. Potentially harmful viruses, bacteria, and mould are turned into harmless by-products. The risk of illness and infection and the resultant costs are significantly reduced when the ecotio2® is be applied to surfaces in both the workplace and home environments. ecotio2® Photocatalyst Coatings are proving popular for use in daycare centers, aged care facilities, face masks, hospitals, airports, aircraft, and any area where people come in contact with one another.

ecotio2® Photocatalyst Coatings create a non-toxic, non-hazardous and hygienic environment, without the need to use potentially dangerous cleaning processes such as high temperature, radiation, chemical agents, alcohol, chlorine compounds and formaldehyde.

In addition, you can apply functional invisible coatings to everyday surfaces that also destroy bacteria, viruses and spores that contact the coated surface.

Photocatalyst and nano carbon redox coatings are highly effective against neutralizing these species by puncturing the cell membrane causing the cell fluid to drain out and the cell to die.
