The ecotio2® Graffiti Resistant Surface Coating from Photocatalyst Coatings can be applied to smooth (off form) concrete to create a graffiti-resistant surface, capable of self-cleaning by harnessing the use of UV component of daylight.
Graffiti and tags are unsightly and can be time-consuming and expensive to clean. If your asset is located in an area with ongoing graffiti or tagging ecotio2® will help avoid a significant drain on your resources.
ecotio2 ® Graffiti resistant coatings provide superior graffiti resistance above the standard APAS1441 Appendix A test method.
How does this work?:
ecotio2® coatings reduce the porosity of the concrete, minimising the absorption of graffiti paint into the surface. Once protected graffiti can then be removed with a simple solvent wipe method.
Any traces of graffiti remaining after the solvent wipe process will gradually self-clean via oxidisation.
ecotio2® does not contain any organic or synthetic materials that break down making it durable under the harsh New Zealand sun.
