The largest of the Halliday + Baillie stand alone mortice locks, the HB 2050, combines a fully adjustable roller ball catch with a high security dead bolt. Designed specifically for use on hinge and pivot doors where pull handles are used rather than a lever handle, the roller ball allows for door control even when unlocked and can be used with any standard Euro cylinder escutcheon. For ultimate flexibility pull handles, door furniture and cylinders are sold separately, enabling you to mix and match to your projects aesthetic.

The high security bolt is a double action 20mm length throw with integrated tungsten carbide pins. Known for its superior hardness and scratch resistance the pins will hold the bolt secure even under sustained force.

Performance

The roller ball is milled from 316 marine grade stainless steel, with double adjustment screws. The top screw adjusts the tension and pressure of the roller ball, with the bottom screw adjusting the projection of the roller from the lock body. Irrespective of the door detail the roller ball is designed to firmly seat in the strike plate no matter what the situation.
