Quartersawn
Built by Quartersawn this is a bespoke piece made in New Zealand in my Auckland workshop.
This home library is constructed from sapele and prime grade hardwood plywood. Sliding dovetails have been used to provide a concealed joint between the shelves and the vertical members.

Seller
At Quartersawn I design and build bespoke furniture and cabinetry, made in New Zealand in my Auckland workshop. With authentic craftsmanship my furniture is built to last, sustainable and tailored to the requirements of our clients.
From design consultation, timber selection and construction I work through the whole process with my clients to produce beautiful pieces.
I build customs pieces and also have a range of made to order pieces to shop from.
Quartersawn is owned and operated by craftsman Aaron Bougher. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Hons) and previously worked as a structural engineer designing bridges. This has given him a keen eye for details and an in depth understanding of materials. He spent 5 years or 10,000 hours engineering and building his own home, including furniture and cabinetry. He is passionate about craftsmanship and loves bringing pieces of furniture to life.
