• Easy and Quick Installation: The 1-5mm thin mat can easily be embedded in screed, allowing for a wide range of floor applications, including a variety of tiles, stone, and wood floors.
• Benefit from Added Storage Heating: The extra layer of screed creates "thermal mass”, the same concept of built-up heating used by in-slab hydronic, which is then gradually released from the slab to the floor.
• Efficient Application: While the screed layer will slightly delay heat-up, the thermal mass accumulated and released over time will increase the overall running efficiency of your heating.

Using the same Warmset’s proprietary multilayer laminated heating strip as Gold, Black is protected by a durable polypropylene sheath and embedded on a reinforced fibreglass mesh. The internal construction is identical to Gold.

By utilising polypropylene in place of polyimide, we are able to deliver Black at roughly 20% less than the Gold, while maintaining the same exact heating performance.
