Hera features Liberty’s iconic peacock motif, which has adorned their fabrics since the mid-1890s. In this design, the delicate feathers have been woven in silk against a soft wool background by our expert weavers in Nepal.
Since it was founded in 1875, Liberty’s landmark building has resided on Regent Street, London, housing an emporium of timeless prints, directional fashion and an inspiring curation of pieces.
Reflecting this sense of heritage is Liberty’s Fabrics department. With a 50,000-strong print archive and an in-house studio that still draws and paints each artwork by hand, Liberty has long established itself as the authority of print.
Like The Rug Company, Liberty’s timeless appeal can be accredited to its dedication to exceptional materials, traditional craftsmanship and innovative design.
