Living Screen™ tall-growing instant hedges create privacy, screening and structure from the day they are installed.

With conventional hedge planting, a taller hedge begins as a row of separate plants and gradually grows together. Living Screen™ hedges have already been grown and trimmed as hedge lengths at our nursery.

Supplied in one-metre lengths, they are ready to install side by side to create a continuous hedge from day one.

Living Screen™ is suited to boundaries, outdoor living areas and other parts of a landscape where privacy, screening or taller structure is needed. Depending on the variety, these hedges can be maintained at taller heights to suit the role they need to perform.

Scope of use

Residential, commercial and public landscapes. Suitable for privacy screening, boundaries, outdoor living areas and other locations where taller hedging is required. Selected varieties are also suitable for use in appropriately sized containers.

Sizes and specifications

Living Screen™ hedges are supplied in 70L or 100L hedge bags, depending on the variety.

70L hedge bag

  • Approx. weight: 65 kg
  • Each hedge length is one metre long, so allow one hedge length for each linear metre of finished hedge.
  • Minimum trench size: approx. 400 mm wide × 250 mm deep

100L hedge bag

  • Approx. weight: 100 kg
  • Each hedge length is one metre long, so allow one hedge length for each linear metre of finished hedge.
  • Minimum trench size: approx. 500 mm wide × 300 mm deep
