Living Boundary™ mid-height instant hedges create defined boundaries and help to separate outdoor spaces from the day they are installed.

With conventional hedge planting, a mid-height hedge begins as a row of separate plants and gradually grows together. Living Boundary™ hedges have already been grown and trimmed as hedge lengths at our nursery.

Supplied in one-metre lengths, they are ready to install side by side to create a continuous hedge from day one.

Living Boundary™ is suited to boundaries, outdoor rooms, paths, entrances and areas where you want to define or separate spaces without creating a tall screen. Most varieties are generally maintained from approximately 800 mm to 1.2 m high, with some suitable for heights up to around 1.5 m.

Residential, commercial and public landscapes. Suitable for defining boundaries, outdoor rooms, paths and entrances, and for separating spaces without creating a tall screen. Selected varieties are also suitable for use in appropriately sized containers.

Living Boundary™ hedges are supplied in 70L hedge bags.

  • Approx. weight: 65 kg
  • Each hedge length is one metre long, so allow one hedge length for each linear metre of finished hedge.
  • Minimum trench size: approx. 400 mm wide × 250 mm deep
