Bradford Multitel™ is a low density lightweight insulation used for externally lining duct work.

Bradford Multitel is manufactured from an engineered glasswool insulation blanket typically faced with a reinforced foil. The blanket is manufactured by spinning  molten glass, containing up to 65% recycled content, into fine wool like fibres. These are bonded together using a thermosetting resin. The product can be identified by its golden appearance.

Scope of use

Multitel is a versatile flexible insulation material that is designed for the economic external insulation of heating, ventilating and cooling ductwork. Multitel™ comes in a range of thicknesses that meet the performance requirements as set out by the NZ Building Code.

Typical HVAC applications include;

  • Hospitals
  • Shopping centres etc

Glasswool Multitel is fixed externally to duct work.
