Native to NZ. Grows into a handsome pyramidal shaped tree. Striking deep green leaf form of the common Podocarpus totara, with slightly wider leaves. Excellent as a specimen tree or for hedging. Does not like to be water logged but will tolerate drought. Hardy. Evergreen.
