Scope of use

Craftstone Schistclad panels have been created to significantly reduce the labour cost associated with real stone cladding features. This BRANZ Appraised real stone veneer system is appraised for use in commercial and residential buildings in every earthquake zone and up to extra high wind zone nationwide. The system may be used up to 10m from ground level, or higher with sign-off from a façade engineer.

While the BRANZ Appraised system uses a fibre cement substrate, we also have several other systems allowing for application over concrete, concrete block, brick, AAC panels and blocks, polystyrene, most plaster systems, insulated concrete forms, pvc concrete forms and polyisocyanurate panels.
